Scarpulla Research Group

Welcome to the Scarpulla Research Group at the University of Utah. We concentrate on compound semiconductors, manipulating and measuring semiconductor defects, optical and electrical characterization, ultrawide bandgap semiconductors, and thin film photovoltaics. We have current projects primarily in Ga2O3, GaN, and CdTe.
